I've watched this one quite a while ago and my thoughts are the same.

It's a cute pilot, but it's nothing amazing and it has its "issues". Things just happen in this episode and the random swearing surprised me only because this has the tone of a kids show. The animation and lighting is stunning, I love the thick lineart. To add, there were also some nice jokes I chuckled at, but the writing is definitely hit or miss.

I'm looking forward to the potential this show has though!
